I always want to know how my site is doing, from day to day what sort of visits I get and how it stacks up compared to other websites.

Alexa is your answer to this. It checks site day to day and sees how they rate up. You are giving a hit rate (percentage) and a traffic rating.

Blog Readability

I am sure many of you have wondered when you have been writing a blog post “how easy is this for my users to read ?”. Well i have anyway.

An easy to read blog is a major part of how successful the site will be. for instance you dont really want to write a blog aimed at children with university standard writing in it.

The easiest way to find out how well you have written your blog is to use the link before and to tell it to evaluate your website. This is obviously not 100% perfect but it will give you a very good idea on the level of writing and how easy to read your site is.
