PTC (Pay To Click)
As most people who spend a lot of time online will probably know there is an area of the internet which is currently growing at a phenomenal pace, the PTC industry. For those of you who are knew to this industry, PTC stands for Pay (or paid) To Click and is a method of making money online.
For those who are unsure how this system works I will give a little description bellow :
An advertiser pays a "middle man", the PTC site, for a guaranteed amount of views. These views will last for at least a minimum amount of time. The best part is if people who are not users view the ad you get this for free! Only member views are charged for.
The user who joins up will get paid a certain amount each time they view an ad. The user may also get paid a percentage of what any people they refer to the system. With the possibility of unlimited referrals there is a possibility of unlimited earnings.
That explains it pretty well and to be honest the best way to figure out what it is would be to go to Wikipedia. Although the Wikipedia article in my opinion isn't exactly explaining PTC it is more looking at normal advertising working on a click basis, such as Google Adsense.
Anyway as the PTC industry has grown so fast within the last year or so it has been a huge place where many scammers have wished to go to create fast easy money which has put new comers off of joining the PTC trend. I feel that the bad publicity has been bad for such a great industry which has shown its huge potential as a place for advertisers to advertise and users to make extra cash.
I will tell you of a few legit PTC sites that I know of and have personally tried and also of some of the many SCAM sites I have heard of. However before doing so I would recommend doing the following before you do join up to any PTC sites you should do the following :
- Check for their forum : If there isnt one in my opinion they are hiding something
- If there is a forum read reviews see how many payment proofs (photographic) that you can find and how recent they all are.
- Do a Google for "PTC Forums" and search for them on the forums. This is a great source of feedback for cheaters.
Follow these steps and hopefully you will be able to tell between a legit and non-legit website, however I cannot guarantee that you will be 100% accurate with your finds.
Legit Websites
Bux.to : This is most likely the largest PTC site around, in accounts of active accounts, and also probably the most likely to stay around for the future. Alot of people feel that Bux.to is a scam due to its long payout time which at the current point is also running behind time because of a major Alertpay issue which meant they could not mass pay users but instead had to pay users 1 by 1 which wasted so much extra time due to the extra page loads. At the time Alertpay also was not large and strong enough to support the amount of members Bux.to sent to them so their servers were also very slow, again causing more and more delays. However they are now catching up on all of their backlogs which has been a mammoth task for them. I highly recommend joining them as they have a massive potential and you are almost guaranteed to make at minimum 2x what you invest although you do not need to invest.
Scotbux.co.uk : Okay Scotbux is a relatively new site only a month or so old and has already had its fair share of problems. However instead of closing down, the easy option, they have stayed there and fought on. Alertpay issues caused them to loose $1000+ dollars but they fight on and are almost 100% back to best. They will, I am sure, be a major ptc contender in the future who will challenge the best and hopefully beat them as they really are good. I hope you have a look at this newby and see its potential.
Those are two of the main ones where i make my money so I believe that they are probably the best. However I will be reviewing more in the future in seperate posts.

I reached payment in Bux.to and requested cashout.
Since then they don’t recognize my e-mail and don’t reply to my contact requests.
I’ve heard that this is a scam.
Any advice ?

Meir,
When exactly did you request payout?
The first thing I would try though would be a change in email addresses as this should definitely mean you have a legit email address.
Also dont worry Bux.to is not a scam, I have been paid already and am waiting on my next payment now. So they do pay.
Hope this helps,
Lee
PS. Leave me an email address if you want me to check the address is legit.
