Ecofont – 20% Less Ink

Posted by on Dec 29, 2008 in Computer, money | 128 comments

When you are writing something, anything really, on your computer and then printing it off your are using a lot of ink from your printer. With some ink cartridges costing £20 per cartridge, which themselves are pretty small, it is a very expensive task.

I am sure many of you have wondered if there was anyway to save ink when you print out.

Well the people at SPRANQ wondered just that and have created a font which uses 20% less ink than normal fonts. It does this by having tiny little holes in all of the letters, this is almost impossible to notice unless you are really trying *at normal typing fonts*

SPRANQ hope that we will all take into account what the font can do for you and also what it can do for the environment and use it in your day to day printouts.
