Dunbar Domains Interview – July

Once again I am being given the pleasure of an interview by Dunbar Domains Web Host and I have been told that this latest interview may have one of the best releases ever, so I really cannot wait to get this completed and online. All bold is from me (LM-BLOG) and all normal font is Dunbar Domains

The interview

Welcome back once again to LM-BLOG, as ever its a pleasure to be speaking with you and I am really looking forward to the exclusive that I may be getting.

Thanks and as always we are extremelly happy about these interviews with you here at LM-BLOG. The feedback we receive through our site from your users is astounding and each month we receive 10-20 new customers from our interview with you.
At the moment the exclusive is not confirmed and may is still a long way from confirmed but we will announce the basic details of it.

Last month you told us that Dunbar Domains had taken over the ptc website Scotbux. How has this gone for you and what changes have/will you encorporated into Scotbux ?

Our takeover of Scotbux went perfectly, which was a great surprise to us, and we were able to almost immediately work on new advertisers, a task which has been relatively difficult task due to the economic downturn.

Cheaters were allways made out to be a major problem for Scotbux and well we thought it was just an excuse put out by the previous owners but it was not. Even two days in we had a few users trying to claim $20 (with 10 ads online). We have taken a very hard line on cheaters and anyone caught cheating who has invested in Scotbux has lost their account.

Obviously we have taken a similar line on non investors but we are emphasising cheat and you loose out to the community.

That is great to hear that you are going strong and well cheaters are not good at all they really but its good to see you combating them strongly. Other than Scotbux what else has been going on ?

As we mentioned in the last interview we carried out with you we had no new plans for Dunbar Domains. With so many customers looking for web-designs, as you know from being called in to help, we have been really run off our feet.

We have produced a number of custom scripts which fullfill basic, yet important tasks for both our customers and ourselves and plan to make these available to our customers and also through a subscription service. These scripts include a hit counter and 2 versions of a referral system.

One member of our sales/marketing team spent almost the whole month working on what we believe will be the best strategy for us to move on. It includes spending much more time going out and selling to individual businesses rather than our previous stand of working from the office.

The marketing strategy brings us on to the little announcement we are hoping to make.

Well what is the little announcement ?
Another LM-BLOG exclusive on its way ?

At the time of this interview we cannot say more than we are hoping to link up with some large blog agencies (ad services) to help support bloggers to get to professional and real hosting.

Not only this but we ourselves are hoping to also be able to support the ad agencies, if they are in a needing positing by offering commision on sales. We are hoping that this strategy will work well and allow us access to a much larger global market.

Well good luck with that and I hope we can hear more about this as it unfolds.
Anything planned for the coming month or is it another quiet Dunbar Domains month ?

Next month (August) will hopefully be more publically busy here at Dunbar Domains, last month it was all client work and we did little to improve our services (other than upgrade our 1 click install scripts).

In August we are hoping to launch a whole new line of Addons, which should include some of our custom scripts along with install services where for a fee we will install, and setup and script which our users supply us with. We are hoping that with the plan we will also do a higher price where for a 6 month period we will also carry out any large updates when they are released.

Other than that mabey an improved price for out Blog/Forum hosting package.

Another improved price ? Dunbar Domains are obviously not feeling the credit crunch, am I right ?

It is not that we are not being affected by it, or feeling it as you put it, it is more that we are trying to use the global economic crisis to our advantage.

While everyone else is cutting cost and quality to make sure they continue to make their huge profits we have instead chose to continue at the level we were at before. We are adjusting our prices so that they are better for our customers, more competitive to our larger customers and overall just more value for money, which is what everyone really wants at the moment.

It is good to see that their are still companies who think about their customers in they way that Dunbar Domains do. Do you have anything else you would like to add to this interview ?

Well all I can really add is that I hope everyone enjoys this post and finds it very informative. I hope that you all have much luck with your online ventures and point out that Dunbar Domains can really give an extremelly stable starting platform for you to get all your ideas off the ground.

There has never really been a better time to move to Dunbar Domains especially in just over a week (for bloggers) when we will once again be improving our pricing for the blog package.

Thank you LM-BLOG for taking this interview and we will look forward to keeping you up to date on our new system we are working on.

Thanks Dunbar Domains and I sure I am right in saying that from all of our users we cannot wait to see this big news and look forward to receiving more interviews from you.
