Dunbar Domains – Interview (April)

I promised an interview with Dunbar Domains and I have been true to my word here it is. But well its not just one, Dunbar Domains have promised an interviw every few months, mabey even monthly!

so watch out.

 

How long have you been with Dunbar Domains?
I have personally been with Dunbar Domains since November 2006.

How did you get where you are in the business?
when I was started as an order completer, my job was to link all payments with orders and to then complete the order for the customer. I quickly volunteered to also work on the support emails. This however required me to spend alot of my time  training with the owners to learn about how the servers worked and alot of scripting as these are our most common problems. June 2008 I finally got what I wanted I moved into the Customer Relations department where I wrote the press releases and all articles for the website. I still kept hard at work in the customer support area but was also given spare time, during which I mostly worked in the server building learning the ropes.

Economic downurn bad for Dunbar Domains?
Well its not a great thing but well we see it as a challenge, we are doing all we can in our power to make sure that we offer the best possible prices and packages. We now have a system of we will beat any of our competitors on packages so we urge anyone who wants to transfer to use this service as its a huge benifit. 

What are Dunbar Domains doing for the future ?
At Dunbar Domains we are working 25/7, thats right 25/7, to make sure that our future is secure and always improving for our users. In the last few months we have worked on our rent costs with our supplier to negotiate an improved fee (per square foot) as we upgraded into a second hosting complex.

 By paying for all new servers on a monthly system rather than straight out it allows us to keep our prices much lower without the worry of breaking the bank for our new servers.

  To encourage new customers and to help keep old customers we are also improving our hosting packages all the time. Only yesterday we added a zero to every variable except the price so that users got 10 times what they got before.

 At Dunbar Domains we are also looking for new services and products to make available for our users and for new users to help improve us as a business, in short we are looking to diversify.

Why does this help us ?
 All of this adds up to make Dunbar Domains an extremely affordable company, however it also makes them extremely good value. We can now offer more than almost all other hosting companies of our size. 

  We know that we can improve everything we do just by our growth, we will make everything better for our users, sooner rather than later. 

Plus our amazing support team will help and talk you through almost any problems you have quickly and efficiently.

Anything you can exclusively reveal for the future?
Sharing, noone has done this before so I will say no more. 

Plus we also hope to start selling our very own range of unbranded pc’s very soon

Why does all this make Dunbar Domains right for us ?

Everything above really just explains how good we are to our customers. We are not interested in making our selves wealthy and instead value our customers and also those who may become customers.
